Has anybody got the bolt on jaw off a 3080 drawbar in the back of the shed? It’s the reversible one with hook one end and clevis the other. Cheers [emoji1303]
There are 2 types of skimmers, one for Maize the other for stubble. I was having the same problem as you with a Euro pal 7 (on solid boards). We tried every adjustment, but as you say always chucked to rubbish on top of the furrow in front. Turned out we had the wrong skims fitted from new, the...
The pedals are a hard one though, they are better to use than the older ones. But obviously you can't rest your feet in between the pedals. Saying that you can't rest your feet in between the pedals on deeres or the older fendts. Nobody seems to moan about them though [emoji848]
Depends how my runs you use to drill your headlands. We go around 5 times with a 3m so if the drill man is somewhere near. All you do is run down the join of the 4th/5th run. Obviously this only works if you are on 24m tramlines.
Being raining here for the last hour and a half. Looks like it's set in for a while. Should be getting down into the crops. More forecast tomorrow [emoji106]
We have a 320s, nice machine plenty of grunt. Poor visibility out the back, although the mirrors are good. Pivots are a lot more unstable than a rigid, due to the fact you are closing up your wheel base. E.g. On a side slope and your turn down hill on full lock, have seen a lot of close ones...
7626 15 plate 2800 hrs. Never touched the ad blue system. Always filled out of an IBC. Also never had a problem on the combine and it's filled out of drums.
We've got ground i can't turn across on with the combine. They used to get the combines stuck with the arse end in the air too trying to turn. Have had to put two headland tramlines in now so it's not quite as steep where I turn with the sprayer. Almost lost it a couple of years ago.
I will have a word with the boss man and get him to enquire with our NH dealer. Definitely sounds like they are worth a look at. See if we can get our name down to try a couple.
Yeah you would be more than welcome, as long as I can pick your brains [emoji106]
Yes 4wd is a must, hill sider would be the best option. Last season I averaged 48 acres a day. A fair amount of that would be dried. I put roughly 250 engine hours on the combine a year. Drum isn't far behind, our furthest ground is 2 miles from base. I averaged 48 acres a day last year cutting...
I don't think it will be a 5000 either, it was the wrong combine for the operation. It's in efficient in that 1 trailer won't keep up but 2 they are waiting around all day. There has been talk of upping the out put to 80acres a day.
This is mainly because of the poor use of trailers. Also I do...
You could be onto something there, as the fan is changing speed all day, as you say variable walker speed would be a massive help.
The combine is four wheel drive, because I wouldn't get up half of the banks if it wasn't. Combining with the old tx65 plus involved a lot of backing up empty...
