I got my mf off him a few years back, honest and was as described prob looked better upon delivery than pics which is rare! and he delivered it as part of deal for no extra and was good with coms etc, no issues
I bought blind as he’s miles from me and would do again
I will get a pic, I suspect it’s the seal that’s failed on it own but who knows until I get in there,
it’s literally the seal of the driveshaft as it enters the axle not hub side
Sadly I’ve just noticed there is oil weeping out of the rear axle via the drive shaft, anyone any idea on part numbers I imagine there fairly standard
it’s a 2006 jcb 526 (rear engined)

They will theoretically use less fuel as they make more power at a lower rpm, however if you exceed this which is likely in the case listed I.e to get on top of a mower then it’s likely to use more fuel, however on your lighter cuts it may use less.
I tuned an old 306td from 92 bhp to 142 all...
Don’t think the new vs nearly new thing is unique, when my later father ordered his discovery 4 commercial he was offered one in stock with something like 1500 miles for a few k more than a new one, or wait 6 months for his. he just laughed and said I’m happy to wait!
Ha ha, expensive preference, we had a matbro pivort back in the day, think it was a tr250? then went rigid Jcbs since, I honestly don’t miss it one bit plus rigid much lower which is handy in tight sheds and have longer reach, and more stable.
