There's a budget make, "Castle", I picked up from the local agri store a few years ago, zip front, hard wearing and quite a bit cooler than the Dickies ones I normally wear. I didn't like them in the beginning because they weren't as thick a material, but soon learnt they are a great summer overall.

you could try the above, have a large selection, will also make bespoke, very popular with farmers in S.Wales, reasonably priced and well made.
I saw a live interview of an old timer up North yesterday who said that they had flood problems like this in the 50's and a grand scheme of dredging drainage chanels and rivers was adopted nationally, that improved things greatly. That is until the 80's when it was transferred to local...
If it's such a waste of time why does FFA push Red Tractor so much at their demos and speeches, when asking consumers to support British farming.
I am in support of farm assurance. Maybe it needs shaking up a bit, but IMHO we are better with it than without.
And if you think it would save much...
Ideally I would like to Glyphos/Roundup a field and then overseed it. Is it possible, and if so what process/timing (spraying) is best to use. I have a Browns comb harrow with small spinner seeder on it.
An agronomist told me not to glyphos before a comb harrow overseed because it would not...
Stores must vary so much area to area. Here in S.E.Wales, British and assured produce is readily available. Some lamb is NZ, but there is also UK and Welsh lamb.

you only have to watch food programmes like "come dine with me" to see the problem. People very often handle meats and then handle utensils, pots and other foods without washing their hands. A disaster waiting to happen.
I have Tesco delivery at least once a week, had very few problems, easily sorted. Quality of fresh goods and dates always good. Never a problem to buy British meats etc.
They buy my meat, I buy their groceries. Simples.
Never a truer word said.
I can't understand the short sightedness of the farmers on here wringing their hands with glee at the drop in profits of the supermarkets. (Tesco, ASDA, M&S, all the same)
Well over 90% of the British public will buy from them, no matter what, and all your winging...
I know a farmer south of Bristol who came over this side of the river to the JD dealer in Raglan and saved a lot of money!!!!
Have you tried them? I found them competitive to other makes of tractor as well.
