I have done a lot of this.
I don't like spray foam as it doesn't let the FC breath so well.
We sandwiched king span bought as seconds between the purlins and then fitted ply over the top, gives a nice air gap, lets everything breath and keeps the heat in
Local hire centre have them, we used a big 32 ton job, put down a foot of chalk first then about 3 inches of Plainings, it's cheap and does the job but get the odd pothole.
For every cup and plateful may the Lord make us truly graceful
good friends, good meat, good God lets eat
Another which ends ,keep British farming as the best, but can't recall the first bit
I think they are offering £450/ ac.
It's a long term game, like the idea of it for black grass control but I leave the farming side of the business to others.
If it's as good as some claim why aren't more doing it?
I have slight issues taking land out of total food production for energy crops...
Depends if the building has been elected for vat or not.
Some of ours have been opted to tax so no VAT charged but none claimed in build costs (in theory!)
Who owns the building and are they vat registered? How big is it, bigger sheds will likely to attract bigger Tenats who are vat...
Speak to the guys who deal with it, begins with T, and go to the energy trade shows. Doubt many on here have, we are considering it but not got much further
He only reaches for the rifle when a fox takes a chicken at the moment but in time I will have more gun time. Loading doesn't really appeal I can get my kicks out of others things like making stuff!
I am more of a shotgun man really but the rifle has its place. I think a .243 with lighter load...
Thanks, everyone for your help.
Tbh I don't much mind spending £500 on a good set up if I think it will work
That said it will only get 100 rounds through it a year at the movement, in a few yrs time when projects are wrapped up that will increase hopefully...
Looks like I will get some more...
But I wanted an excise to buy another gun (n)(n)(n)
This is exactly what bro told me, I was hoping for some valuable ammo (:D) from TFF to counter bus suggestion..
Ok, so long range shot at a crow with .243..... What round, ballistic tip again? What grain?
Use about 70 - 90 on fox I think and...
Seriously guys, did you not see the ! There. Been shooting since I was 6 yrs old and not managed to kill anyone yet, and I am confident to say it's was not luck but more judgement.
Before I was even allowed to pick up a gun dad shot a marrow at close range with me to understand how dangerous a...
Much to her disgust Tottie now has competition. Our 70 yr old plumber told me the other day that in all his days of lunch Boxes in van he has had many labs begging for food but never chickens that get in his van with him trying to get at his crusts!
How true is that!
Mine seem to have a built in clock as soon as we arrive on site she seems to know which plumber / builder is opening their lunch box first!
I need the semi auto for pigions, it's very affective.
Don't fancy loading my own, not my thing really.
I could use the .243 more but I am not convinced I can take a crow safely and accurately at 200+ metres, fox at 120 is fine. It's a bit OTT For corvid / brown crow controll too!
So, what...
Slight hijack. Have a .243 and a ruger semi auto .22. Use .243 for foxes and deer at night and the .22 for keeping pigions off the rape. Really want something to take out the cheeky crow / magpie at decent distances,150m plus. Is the HMR 17 the way forward?
Ideally I want something robust that...
In brief, I don't think so unless you can either use it yourself and save on buying it in or better still, sell it on to tenants. :finger:
Others with a more precised set of figures will soon be here and shoot me down a bit!
