Which pipe was it please? I have very similar problems on my 2016 s4 724.
Really worries me that it could be something simple and yet we go replace a head gasket or egr cooler without fixing problem
Thanks
Sorry for late reply
No starts real easy. Does blow white vapour until warm? Tractor hasn't been remapped. Reason we took DPF out was because it was blocked and needed a burn off every 20hours. $16000 to replace! So thought it was best option.
Now it throws water out at normal temp but only...
Haha good reading but sadly no my problems still exist. Interesting reading another post on here about a 724 doing the same thing. I might message him and see if he sorted it.
Really need to ID problem b4 it goes to shop.
It blew a hose going into ERG a while back and I wonder if it's related?
My fendt has started this worrying habit. When it gets under serious load(6 green bars on temp guage) water starts coming out the plastic header tank breather cap. I changed the cap but still doing it. Head gasket? Was only doing it under serious load but now will do it under hardly any load...
I have a 2016 S4 724 with 2400hrs. It has a blocked dpf filter which was going to be serious coin to replace. So I have removed it and got a software (aftermarket) update and it is running sweet now. The reason the filter blocked was because of oil consumption I think. It uses approx 4-5l every...
Yes still have other gears. I changed a couple of bearings on the dispenser rollers that were slightly dodgy. It goes well enough now on the cheapest wrap I could find. Costs me $nz125 inc gst a roll. Can pay almost 200 big difference.
I still have the same problems - tears at start of wrapping. I think the problem is little bits of plastic stuck to the hold arms. They make a ruff surface so the very thin plastic gets a tear in it which lets go at start off on the next bale. My solution is to stand them smooth with 80 grit...
I bled the accumulaters and the LH side had foamy white stuff (air I guess) while the other side was straight oil. The LH side has been the side giving me grief so maybe thats the problem(I watch it in the camera). I also took the arms off and resanded them and painted them also the runners were...
I don't understand how sharp blades affect starting wrapping the next bale. The plastic is held between the rubber stopper and the arm. The blade cuts it on the finished bale side of the rubber stopper. Will drain the accumulaters again but thought if they were coming right out they were ok?
Latest dramas. Sometimes the cut and hold arms on the wrapper slightly damage the plastic so that when you start the next bale it just tears. I have tried sanding (the surface of the arm which holds the plastic) real smooth and it does go better but i hardly ever get thru a roll without having...
Finally sorted this. The pressured grease goes from pump to this bank/block thing which splits it 5 ways. Each to another bank /block which then splits off to all the bearings etc. I made a grease fitting to fit to each line and then tested with normal grease gun. 1 of them wouldnt take grease...
