So about 13 months ago I was please to see this new toy arrive
Today, I was even more pleased to see it depart.
Easily the most unreliable machine I have ever had the misfortune to own.

I have just bought an LED amber one (like the green one mentioned above)
But the JD not happy so it wont work. Anybody able to tell me where i can get a direct/modern repllacement for the JD one that has stopped spinning??

Seems pretty well built. it was cheaper than all the second hand ex builder wrecked ifors that were available at the time and the dealer had it in stock...
Ok, so all is not lost then.
What sort of seed rate? Going into fairly heavy ground.
Where is the best place to buy seed? Either as a mix or as straights please.
This is a bit of a last minute but i have got a block of wheat stubble that will be going into spring oats. It has been subsoiled so far and the straw has been baled.
Was just going to leave it but now thinking of trying a cover crop.
Is it too late? If not, what to plant? dont want anything...
Hi, just looking at this thread, if I were to put a tap into this blank and then pipe from here to back of cab that shouldn’t cause any issues for the brakes?
I really don’t know why manufacturers don’t fit them as standard??
I have not found any problem with this in the 5 years since i stopped putting tramlines in and just running on the crop. In a lot of cases if they are really green i find the combine knife doesnt even cut them and they just get left in the field.
Make sure they dont use a "blend" mix, it basicaly means that instead of cement they put slag ash in and it takes a lot longer to go off.
Hanson did this with me recently, still said C35 on the ticket though!!!
