    Insulin dependent diabetics here?

I’d need to know a little more. I suppose morning blood glucose levels are in range? I’d be tempted to say too much long-acting insulin or my trouble before my pump I didn’t want to have an elevated bs so I’d take a little too much insulin to avoid having another shot two or three hours later...

    Today at work

Haven’t really got a plan. The lucerne is so patchy and the grass is wiry and short so will likely end up replacing it all. I calf the cows in the two red circled mucky paddocks but am working on turning the blue circle into one large one that I could be more careful on (cell graze) and then...

    The "I`ve got it" thread...

    quick fixes, bodges and creations

Built a hay feeder for lambs yesterday. Don’t mind the new lumber. Was going to use 2x4 lumber for a neck bar but ran out. So on with the creation. I started looking around for something suitable and found the right thing in plain sight, with our excavation business we replace hydrants (6’ bury...

Not Quite Farm Engineering or a Quick Bodge.

Had a bit of time and order some electric clamps for fencer leads. Used some wire I had around, a lot cheaper to build than buying new kit. Tired of previous steel wire leads whipping around by my eyes when carrying.

The paper containers don’t burst when it gets too hot or cold. I’ve had the foil where the straw goes in break:banghead: I’ve cleaned up my share of Mountain Dew cans top sealed but burst sprayed everywhere. Today’s sugar boost 75% crumbled cookie. Don’t take pockets well.

    Pile of old tyres

There’s neighbor’s here that are happy to take planter gauge wheel tyres. There’s some using vehicle tyres to make stock mats for alley corners etc. Some are using the beads on silage piles. I see some tractor tyres turned inside out for feeders, watch closely for wires, never had the issue but...

    Insulin dependent diabetics here?

Am I the only one that tries to quick get something done before going to the house for some sugar. Was quick trying to move some panels with the loader and drove through a gateway with door open. Broke the curved glass. Spendy. Bad enough low but that made me crabbier. Dexcom on arm this session...
