    Poorly cow

    My 10yr old cow has had a c section 10 days ago.The calf was dead inside for about 2 days according to the vet. Since suffered swelling of the site and is passing muddy coloured urine. Any opinions please. She’s on anti-inflammatory and antibiotic injections

    Rearing calves

    We've always reared 30 - 40 calves a year to sell at 12months old but with the current low calf price im thinking now may be the time to up that number abit . The only problem we have is limited winter feed but access to plenty of straw. So im wondering how long i could keep feeding them straw...
