£200 Alternative Fuels Payment

The sad thing to me is that I doubt many of the elderly population who live on their own in a draughty house and need this money more than most would be able to log onto the correct link, let alone upload proof of purchase of their alternative fuels.

Yet the young whipper snappers in their nicely insulated new builds heated with as have it all sorted out for them automatically.

Utility warehouse has sent mine automatically and put the account in credit, they then will send a credit automatically to my bank rather than hold it for next month.

Ovo did the same for us, 2 days before pay-day - which was a nice surprise.

Ovo paid ours into my bank account, then it appears on my bill as a debit, so I owe them an extra £200. Seems they give it with one hand then take it back with the other, even though it's not for electricity.

One is house and the other is a shed ,2 separate meters.

Very straightforward

Bought 1000L heating oil on the 31st August. Applied anyway but reckon it’ll fail as needs to be invoiced September or later. Pretty mental as prices Aug/Sep were no different, and most folk will fill up before winter.

Mine was bought early August and i've had my £200. Didnt claim, it came through automatically. Have a word with your oil supplier to see if they can help.
