“CESAR” data tag system?

Do any of you use the “CESAR” system,is it worth the money?
Is it REALLY much of a deterrent to thieves?

I am not convinced that it is a deterrent. But I have been to a presentation by CESAR and they are quite successful identifying stolen machines and getting them returned to the rightful owner.

The insurance discount is what convinces most to have it done.

It’s only of any use if the item that gets stolen is found.

The machinery that gets stolen around here never seems to be seen again.

Tracking devices are becoming more popular locally.

As above, the 12% insurance discount makes it worth a look.

12.5% discount on NFU Mutual insurance. It didn't stop my quad bike being nicked nor have I had it back. It's a visual deterrent and could help recovery if found, that's all. All my tractors & car trailers have it.

paid for itself in a year and a bit in insurance discount even on our older stuff, would be better still on new stuff
