Work from home has smashed the housing market in the countryside as folk move away from the major cities. How many don’t realise that the countryside is for also for farming which sometimes smells a bit!

I would read that as making prices poor, but I thought the opposite. We must use « smashed » in an opposite way?

Then you get guys like the chap of emerdale buying farms too, to escape towns (well you would if you lived in Oldham !)
