After a 100hp loader tractor, if not a bit smaller. Had a Case Farmall 90a lined up but Case have moved from 60 to 36 months on the finance and its made it look less attractive. Is anyone where offering 0% over 60 months at the moment?

New Holland were advertising 60 month deals to coincide with 60 years of manufacturing at Basildon.
I'm sure if pushed you'd be able to find a deal somewhere. I know they aren't popular but deutz or mcormick always seemed to have good finance deals going

For the billionth time, the interest rate is subsidised and added to purchase price of equipment.

There is no such thing as a true 0% unless the oem has billions that the cfo will let them earn 0% on, chance of that is zilch.

They can make the same repayment figure by increasing interest rate and lowering whole good price.

Marketing gimmicks.

I use to do these subsides with jd credit.

150k over 5 years 9% interest is $3,114 per month.

$186,840 over 5 years 0% interest is $3,114 per month.

150k over 60 months is actually only 2.5k

I haven't ever bought a tractor where the dealer has required to know if I'm taking up the 0% finance option or not. And they certainly don't go oh as your taking finance it'll be 20% more.

I'm my opinion they're making the fat profit one way or the other so you might as well take the finance.

I would not have another 95A if l was given it. The brakes are sh!t
Well if anybody offers you one please give me a shout.

I have a 95A with a loader and I quite like it. If I could change anything it would be electric shuttle rather than manual and some wheel weights.
Not keen on the way the brakes engage 4WD and can be a bit slow to disengage it but it isn't an issue.

They are unable to offer cheaper deal for cash so may as well take the finance.

And the fact that even if I did pay cash it would be out of the overdraft which is 8% at the moment so it's painful any which way you cut it.

Just a matter of getting the best offer you can get and I'm sure there's plenty deals to be had at the moment.

I bought a tractor once that had a nationally well publicised % interest/basic price offer.

Being a 'cash buyer' I pressed for terms, and got a notable discount on the QT.
It had to be done discreetly, as once advertised, the % had to adhered to....but obviously had been loaded onto the price, because there was wiggle room.

There is no such thing as a free lunch, IME.

May the lord help you.

150k at 9% interest is $3,114 per month.

JD will often give 1% off if no jdc.

If you pay cash or own finance, they win as they get the elevated price and dont have to subsidise the interest.

If buying a tractor because its 0% finsce your being sucker punched.

Now if you say oh I'm a cash buyer and he then agrees to sell it to for less than 120k then your right the finance is a scam but in my opinion no dealer has been prepared to knock another 20% off for cash.

Your both right john but note @TelesnaAg example is using 9% on 150,000 or 0% on 186,840 to get the same monthly payments. Either way don't suppose it'll be on 100% of the purchaser price.

Edit. and assume that the OP is comfortable with the size of payment over 60months rather than the larger payments over 36months.
