1-2 acres farm land wanted for aerial antennas

Looking for 1-2 acres of land to lease for 1-3 years for installing aerial antennas for a wireless research project.

Location: needs to be away from urban areas - 3km away from nearest town, and 500m from nearest dwelling.
Roughly within area bounded by Heathrow, Swindon, Worcester, Banbury.

Could be farming land or equestrian property, or even a clearing in a forest. Vehicle access is required, mains power is not.

My budget is £2000-£5000 per month for 1-2 acres. I'm open to a finders' fee arrangement.

You may have already found somewhere, but I farm just north of Banbury in Shotteswell, would this area be of any interest?

Have you tried the local land agents like Berrys or Fisher German?

Talked to Fisher Germain (among others), it is a bit too 'unusual' for them. Estate agents want simple things (lease hundred acres, or sell a house), and didn't seem to be interested to talk to farmers they know -- and the response I get is "will let you know if we see anything". I'll try Berrys next.

The land agents do telecoms masts agreements for farmers, so your trail isn't particularly bizarre for them. Good luck.
