Looking for 1-2 acres of land to lease for 1-3 years for installing aerial antennas for a wireless research project.

Location: needs to be away from urban areas - 3km away from nearest town, and 500m from nearest dwelling.
Roughly within area bounded by Heathrow, Swindon, Worcester, Banbury.

Could be farming land or equestrian property, or even a clearing in a forest. Vehicle access is required, mains power is not.

My budget is £2000-£5000 per month for 1-2 acres. I'm open to a finders' fee arrangement.

Please PM for details.

Thanks! It is an unusual request, I haven't received much response/interest going via estate agent route, so least I can do is to be transparent.

Do you need help with planning permission?

Sorry for the blatant plug for business [emoji57]

Pfft. If I was zapping drones, it would take me far longer than 2 days to get planning advice, not even talking about planning permission, even with Georgie's help :)

So given this requires planning for change of use it seems there’s a little more than just a couple of acres required , would be interested to know a little more.

Per GPDO, maximum 2 antennas on property qualifies as "permitted development". I need a few more than 2.

Thank you everyone for responses - still haven't found the "perfect" site (far enough from other buildings), and still looking - and still open to ideas of "finders fee" for anyone who knows potentially-interested farmers and could make appropriate introductions.
