Can anyone give me some ideas on price and best place to be looking in the North West (Manchester way) to do a 100X50 slab for a shed floor?

Any tips pointers and thickness. We are thinking 6" with a good hard sub base but if we could get a bit thinner even better. Been a while since we've poured anything so need some good up to date prices

here is a rough guide for you 6 inch of concrete is 71 cube at say 90.00 per cube is £6300 470 sqm of mesh 4.8mx2.4m, 11.5 sqm. 41 sheets at £34.50 e £1414.50

£7714.50 + vat of course

If you have the time man power and skills do the job yourself and hire a easy screed

put plenty of movement joints and saw cuts from the stansions and if you are putting sockets in for posts these really want to be in a circle former (600 dia manhole riser) on the corner of 4 joints, it should shrink away from this and not crack and don't concrete into any stansion webs
