What type of plug is this, the wire has pulled out, can’t see a way of dismantling it, have I got to fork out for a new plug?

They do come apart, you have to shove a thin tool in to release the pins

Best to solder those rather than buying crimp tool.

you can do them with a needle nose pliers without to much bother!

wouldn't be sure about solder on automotive because it looses its flexibility where the solder runs down inside the insulation?

That's the solution, you will only need to join wires instead of messing around with the plug(s)

Really poor quality plastic and mouldings
