Opportunity to fill a beef unit quickly.
A TB reactor in our cows today means that the calves, that were due to be for sale next week, will now be subject to movement restrictions.
If you are able to set up an 'isolation site' for a group of beef calves and interested in a large group then we have;
76 Aberdeen Angus; 42 Hereford; 31 Belted Galloway; 12 Salers; 10 Belgian Blue.

Don't see many dairy x belted Galloway! What's the reason behind it? Sorry just being nosey!

Belties have proved to be easy calving for us, calves are always well marked and get going well. The bulls are always the randiest of the bunch and do a bloody good job of getting cows in calf.
Add to that, we winter them out at 900' too.
