i am currently doing a complete resto on a mf240. can anyone tell me if the wiring is the same as the 135. all the specs are the same, it looks as if the cab is the only difference. new to this site.

As far as I recall, a 240 would have an alternator rather than the dynamo as fitted to the 135. So, they'll be different. Probably different in other areas too..

No. Alternator instead of dynamo, electric temp gauge instead of capillary. Oil pressure light instead of gauge. Hooter. Air filter light. Different fuel gauge, to name but a few differences.
