1996 New Holland 5635

Found this laid in the cab of a NH 5635, that I look after. It was laid behind the seat, as if it had been thrown in the cab, but unsure of its origin. There has been a part time steering wheel attendant on it recently, who seems to be able to wreck anything. 17mm nut and hex slot in the middle. Any idea where it’s from ? Just presuming it’s from this tractor.

Looks like half of the safety start switch to me (the one that only lets it start when the clutch pedal is depressed).
Take the left hand cover off below the dashboard and have a look..

Does it start ok?
Has your 'driver' shorted it out, so he can start it without being in the seat?

If anyone has one of these tractors, or very similar, I’d like a picture of the hydraulic lever area in the cab please.
There is no operators manual, and all the decals are missing in this area, and would like to know which lever is draught / position etc.

Thanks in anticipation.

It's very 'Italian' - nothing like any Ford you've driven before...

levers 1 and 2 were blue and orange respectively iirc.
the fiat lfit o matic was useful click clack i used to call.
and yes way superior to any old ford we had. tbf mine was a tl bit later. still mostly Fiat though. gripped far better than any ford as well. balance and p to w ratio were so good.

Looks like a grub screw/lock for something hydraulic, flow control on a log splitter perhaps?
