Which is impressive beefy is at peek milk now, liters an hour are not going to be crash hot in June it's all about averages. I might add that his lovely sand beds are not without cost and hassle.Includes wash down!
Rubbish! At your yields you need good pulsation and milkmeters I wouldn't buy Irish or NZ kit it's not made for the job. Swing overs aren't the best at high yields cluster flooding can be a problem que everyone telling me that's not true.
Funny the man that told me this was Michaels vetRubbish!
DL harmony claw ,no problems.
Pre rotary Michael Eavis had a swingover,12000l ,2x day milking.
Yes the beds are work, but I need sand to spread in the farm. There is NO WAY sawdust would work in this farm. The sand blows out of the cubicles as it is.Which is impressive beefy is at peek milk now, liters an hour are not going to be crash hot in June it's all about averages. I will piont out that the two were unrelated conversationsFunny how he did so well then!
Do you not get sand clinging on the teats then? Never worked with it beforeYes the beds are work, but I need sand to spread in the farm. There is NO WAY sawdust would work in this farm. The sand blows out of the cubicles as it is.
Not really, it's dry sand so doesn't really stick. If it's really wet sand you may get a bit, but try and keep a few loads in stock so it's not fresh out the sea and damp.Do you not get sand clinging on the teats then? Never worked with it before
I see just cos you said you didn't need to wipe was wondering if you ended up with a filter full of sand!!Not really, it's dry sand so doesn't really stick. If it's really wet sand you may get a bit, but try and keep a few loads in stock so it's not fresh out the sea and damp.
An egg cup full maybe, lots of neighbours on sawdust and mats, they have dirtier filters by a country mile.I see just cos you said you didn't need to wipe was wondering if you ended up with a filter full of sand!!
No problem then, don't see the point in doing more than you have toAn egg cup full maybe, lots of neighbours on sawdust and mats, they have dirtier filters by a country mile.

Looking at your cubicles and mine, I believe I use a lot more sand than you. As in top up 3x a week. I think you are monthly.I have that problem and its a bloody nightmare!!
Don't want to have to start foaming but I might end up having to
