Whats the most cost effective way to provide the magic 200lux lighting?

Is there a simple way to work out how many square meters of 200lux light a particular fitting will cover if you know its lumen output?

Ask the local electrical wholesaler. They will design a layout to give enough light if it helps them sell fittings.

Please take this comment as constructive and helpful. In our view and from experience the electrical wholesaler does not have enough knowledge or experience to correctly determine the requirement for this type of lighting regime. We have seen systems calculated this way not producing the correct result or worse, failed. It is easy to just add data for a calculation; you need the experience to interpret the findings. There is much more to it.
