2013 merlo 32.6 Hyd oil filler

Evening all,

Can anyone tell me where the filling point is for the hydraulic oil on the above machine please? Can’t see it anywhere obvious!

Between the cab and the engine, under the boom I think, I seem to remember you have to take a cover off and it's a stupid place to put it.

thought you needed the boom down/retracted to get the right oil level?

It makes little difference, I fill to about 1/3 on the sight glass with the boom up, it will be on half way when it is down. There is a 50mm plug for topping up, or the whole plate comes off for changing the filter (!) or changing the oil.

As above , it’s under the main boom . Lift it up, say a quick prayer and get busy !

Wasn’t getting under there without some back up!
