2015 at RWG Contracts

Yes had a reasonable quote from PDRD but we know how that story ended.

Certainly think since this CE farce came in its becoming more difficult to get reasonable quotes on a timely bases from shed manufacturers.

The problem now with this CE marking Rubbish is everything has to be proven. Before all this came in I could quote a shed of the size of steel that was always used now I have to get an engineers report to prove that all the steel sizes and connections ect work. I'm not trying to excuse the fact I haven't done my job but it is a lot harder to do quotes now

@RWG Contracts indeed a credit to you.

The next step, IMHO is the hardest, growing the business to the point where your time is as valuable in the office as on site.

If you want to make this jump in a bid to increase work loads and hence profits, you will have to accept that some days you can't get your hands dirty and one day your truck full of tools may have to be given to your head foreman whilst you have a cleaner (!?) car for quotes and site inspection!

Delegation and acceptance that there are different ways of doing the same job are all part of the journey

Look forward to Xmas 2016 update (y) good luck

I gave you a quote exactly 12 months ago but I heard nothing from you .

Thought it was pretty obvious at the site meeting when you quoted a price to supply deliver and erect the above including foundations but still expected me to do all the groundworks. If I wanted a self build kit I would have requested it.

Is there a reason why you do the floor last?

Erm i probably should have a technical reason to support why I put the floor in last but basically it's because that's how I was taught (y) although thinking about it if you did the floor first it would give the walls chance to fall in, I dig out set shutters and our concrete in a 6 hour window stops the chance of walls collapsing
