Is Prophet still the market leader or should I look towards the new kids on the block, namely Karioka or Bluetime which show a 6-7% yield increase in PGRO trials?

Had a chat with local seed guy who said exactly same. Prophet or Kingfisher being his backup choice.

Daytona or Campus seem to be the favourites up this way.

There is no commercial production of a lot of the new blue peas.
The only ones with any sizeable production are Campus, Daytona and Prophet.
There were big differences in the amount of bleaching in the varieties this year with end prices varying by as much as £40+ per tonne. So growers should ask their grain pea buyer for advice on variety as much as look at the agronomic characters.
