If I need anything in bulk I always phone people to ask if I can email a shopping list for a quote. I phone first to get a name I can deal with and find the personal touch makes subsequent dealing smoother. Asking folk for a quote lets folk know they are bidding for your trade and not simply quoting from their pricelist that generally reflects prices for Joe Public looking for 50metres of 20mm and a couple of fittings.

2Km of 25mm will see quite a serious pressure drop, go 32mm if you can.

Just laid some 32mm pipe. Phoned local builders merchant for quote to see if worth me getting it from them (10 mins drive) or my go to supplier (30 mins drive) who I use for drainage pipe. Local £97 for 100m. Not so local £107 for 150m (I needed about 150m) . OH was despatched to go for the latter! Civils and Drainage in Bellshill near Glasgow. They do not do online though.
