You'll get a new 720 fendt for that money. A relation has recently been pricing them.

New 720 is a lot less than that

a 724 is nearer 130k new than 160k, whered u hear this?

Doubtful as in 2014 they were £125k for a full spec without gps.

Our dealership has only ever put one gearbox in a fendt 700 and have tractors out with over 12,000 hours on them

Our neighbour has done up 2 gearboxes in past year, and he's a farmer.
That must be quite a small dealership

12 m drill never been on that tractor! Been mostly on trailer work iirc.

Cost of the repair - not sure yet. Brand new box told 15k, rebuild with guarantee towards 10k, sent to Germany for a rebuild about 5k but was unsuitable for that so had to go for the rebuild, plus labour so not looking forward to the bill!
