If True it's about bloody time, I'm waiting see if the 2015 Hilux and 2015 Mitsubishi new Range will be 3500 as I'm not happy with my Dmax witch I will change adventuly

I just received a call from Richard Laycock at Cheshire Contracting, responding to my enquiry about a used Defender canopy.

I explained that this thread had been posted and we got chatting - nice chap.

The original higher weight spec came about through the need to enhance train weights for Hilux sold to the fire service for towing moorland water tenders.

Cheshire contracting have a unique Type Approval in conjunction with a main dealer

Well worth a chat before making a truck buying decision where towing 3,5t is a big criteria
