3350 question

Hi guys, I had an issue with my 3350 today where the brakes all of a sudden went and the steering started to get seized. I found a pipe under the cab that’s leaking, I was just wondering is the brakes and steering all ran with the same oil from backend or is it separate? Thanks

Iirc the brakes are fed with oil from the return from the steering unit. From your description though I would check the back end oil levels first and proceed from there.
Thanks, backend oil will be low now as the pipe busted but hopefully it’s the pipe that caused both my problems

Brakes are fed from return oil from steering .

Now Then..
Have you topped up the transmission oil with something like Super Farm Universal Oil and it's OK now??
The steering is indeed supplied from the main hydraulic system via a priority valve. The return oil passes through the brake reservoir on it's way back to the transmission. This only tops up the reservoir as required, there should always be enough oil for the brakes. If it's OK now, then no worries, eh..
