What backend oil do people use in there 3350

I've just had my internal lift cylinder resealed in my 3050 and changed oil and filters afterwards and filled her with new UTO 10W-30. I have been advised by one or two folk not to use Hy-guard in these older girls.

UTO is a fraction of the price of Hy-guard! Pains me to change oils and put Hy-guard in our newer JD, just seen the bill this morning !

Won’t do it any hurt but if universal is good enough why pay for hy-guard!

Always used UTTO in our JD 2040 with no problem at all
