So many variables, size of the seed etc, you really should do the calibration by taking off the 90 degree air pipe bend under the metering unit, put a container underneath, reset the area meter to zero, rotate the metering unit with the hand lever, or spin the wheel untill you get an area of 0.04 hectares, equal to one tenth of an acre. So if your seed rate is say 14 kg an acre ,you should weigh 1.4 kg in the container.
