40 bar spraying hose.... or other options

Well ouch, I Googled the hose that came with my sprayer, Tress-Nobel 40 bar, and I'm sore just thinking of the price of it.

With the hand lance I used 80 meters of cheap Aldi/Lidl garden hose to get distance from the sprayer tank, worked well. I intend to try that tomorrow as a test, forecast too windy to spray anyway. I am thinking the garden hose won't have the pressure to work the five nozzles of the boom sprayer worth a damn.

So, is there any other (cheap) hose I can use to good effect? Would be looking at around 60-80 meters or there abouts.

I'm sure garden hose will be fine. I think our tractor sprayer has some joining the boom sections. It will take the pressure fine and being small will be easier to pull along.

Are you going to join it to your wheelbarrow sprayer?

Thanks, that's good news, I have garden hose coming out my ears

What went wrong today was the weight. So, what I'll try next is leave the battery and the tank on a hillock somewhere. Join the hose from the tank to the wheel barrow boom sprayer. This will lighten the load considerably making the job much easier. Then I have 80 meters to play with, if I need the tank moved I can do that with the barrow to another hillock, worked for the lance sprayer so once the pressure stays right for the boom I'll be away with it :)

I'm not worried about the pump bursting the pipe, I know that won't happen. Just that there's enough pressure along the length of the hose, considering it's ordinary garden hose not pressure hose, to properly feed the 7 nozzles (not 5 as I mistakenly said earlier).
