@Alistair Nelson will know about them

A bootimate was a tined coulter drill with an accord style metering device and RDS electrics. Basic spec was 1 row rigid tines, levelling board, 3 rows of tined coulters 125mm row spacing, Packer roller then a following Harrow. Various derivatives were made from there for customers different rollers, grain and Fert, front tank, no levelling board, levelling tines instead of the rigid tines and levelling board and different row spacing and inter row clearances.

Yes a drill mate is just a spring tine based cultivator that you put inplace of the powerharrow in a combination of that makes sense which is what the Irish 5m above is. A bootimate as discussed further up from my description is a completely different animal.

I have a bootimate and it is a hell if a tool, but wasn't sure if the op needed a bootimate type or a drill mate, and think you're right it's more the bootimate type.

Bump, couldn’t find what I wanted so bought something else but wet proved I really could do with one. I think Farmforce would be the best if I could find one.

Did you ever get fixed up. One just appeared on FaceBook Marketplace thingy.
The seeding tines look like 20 mm. Simba MiniFlow tines, not sure if these were standard - or a mod. If they are the 20

Thanks very much, I appreciate you thinking of me. I think it’s a mod and I think it was for sale 12months ago in Suffolk. Robbie put me onto a 4m folding krm which was cheap and I really should have bought the other week 🤦‍♂️

Did you ever get sorted with the drill in the end?
