6155 electric spool valve

The electric controller on top of the scv has stopped working over the winter there is a bit of power as can here it buzzing for the first few seconds but then it stops.

Has anyone managed to get one repaired as it doesnt look like it should be too hard, but david king said they dont do them. is there anyone else worth a try or is it just stump up for a new one?

Do you have any error codes?? If the problem is electrical I'd expect there to be some..
You could swap a plug from the next valve as a test perhaps??

yes swapped them over and its definatly the motor/controller, about £1000 for a new one so i could do with a cheaper fix
