6480 left hand dot matrix led failure
Anyone know how hard or even possible to repair this?
As useless dealer doesn’t know how. Was fine when it went in for dynasix main drive shear off repair, after four months to do this repair I thought they could of at least sorted this and also the aircon, the oil leaks, the lack of brakes all problems created by dealer

we sent one to david king last year .they fitted a new screen cant remember price I think around £150

Part available through MF but tricky to solder in but it can and has been done I believe part is about £120

Our 6480 is suffering from same problem again.
Had it go while it was under warranty and the fix then was a new dash board and Massey had to come out to input original hours back onto new dash. Was an expensive way of doing things for the sake of an led component probably costing a few pence!!
I was thinking we will probably have to go down the route of David King.
Don't use that screen much as tractor has a data3 screen.

I know it’s not a problem, but I had tractor new in 2009, it’s only done 3000 hrs
I’ve never heard of this problem of left side screen failure
Until it had to go to dealer for major drive problems the tractor has been faultless
(Probably my doing for chipping it)
4 months later on collection it has the problems of a suicidal lady!!
