Hi all, just bought a mf 6714s and the auto 4wd and auto diff buttons disengage unless front wheels are ABSOLOUTLEY straight, obviously annoying ploughing as if put it in permanent diff (button next to it) i have to take it out everytime i lift the plough.

Is there a simple way to calibrate drop out angles? Or have i got to ring a dealer

Does the normal diff lock not come out when you pick up the link arms? Then come back on when you put them back down again?

Nope afraid not, auto button only comes in when wheels perfectly straight and implement down. The one next to it is in permanent

My mistake the 64 series used to knock the diff lock out when you lifted the link arms and put it back in when you lowered them. i normally have diff lock on the H3 or H4 button on the black joystick then its easy to take in and out

Leave the 4wd in manual and diff lock in auto. Perhaps try unplugging the angle sensor at the front hub. I haven't tried it, we have enough angle on ours for it not to be a problem
