6920S niggles

I have a couple of niggles with my new to me 6920S autoquad. Firstly it seems a bit slow to me changing powerquad under load, certainly compared to my 6620. It’s had recent hyd and transmission filters, next obvious thing to do change oil? No error codes or lights on dash.
Secondly sometimes the rear hitch seems to get itself in a muddle and when you go over a bump it gets a shake on where it seems to be constantly correcting itself.
Any ideas @Tractortech @Phil P anybody else?
Thanks

Now Then..
There are some springs in the gear to gear modulation valve that break. They are under a plate with 3 bolts on the underside of the transmission.
As for the rockshaft,,, if there are no codes, I'd get someone to calibrate it and see how it goes..

Many thanks. I cleared all the codes yesterday as it hadn't been done for years. Can i just whip the plate off and have a look under the trans? The oil won't all fall out? I appreciate your help.

I get the shake on arms that you mentioned too.seems like the arms are on some sort of ratchet and they slip a bit if that makes sense.i also loose draft control at random times when ploughing and link arms will go to bottom of their reach slowing the tractor a lot and sometimes stalling it if not caught quickly.i lift it on cab control till it decides to behave and lift up to required height again, mostly only a few seconds and it fine then.no pattern to it happening either but sometimes it happens a lot but often not at all.this is on a 6620 and had hydraulics calibrated several time but no change.

I had a judder on the arms on my 7710 when lowering them, and a new set of seals in the rams cured it. There was rust behind the slip rings in the cylinders pinching the rings against the rods so tight they would hardly move under there own weight.

Are you putting the slide into the lock position? This will engage the hitch dampening, it basically looks for shock load on the draft sensor and allows the hitch to drop slightly then correct it’s self.
Personally I don’t like it as it freaks me out going down the road! If you set the slider to the top but not in the lock position it disables it. However if it’s still drops in that position it may either be the valves need shimming or the surge relief valve is blowing of, you need a fair bit of weight on to do that though.

Sounds like one of your draft sensors is going out of range. They need manual adjusting then a calibration to set the zero point. Just because it’s been calibrated doesn’t mean everything was in spec, did the dealer do it with a weight on the arms?
I’ve seen a lot of people calibrate a hitch but then couldn’t be arsed to rectify the faults thrown up during the calibration. Such the valve dead bands out of range or draft sensor voltage high or low!

Yes it happens in transport mode only. I really like it on my other tractors and they don’t act like this one. What are your thoughts on the power quad changes? Thanks
