750a mod - Good idea.. or not?

Nothing majorly extreme, but considering taking the hopper off of my 3m 750a and replacing it with a bigger one - off a 6m vaddy or something so that I can get a decent amount in (aiming for 1.5-2t?) and limit the drilling time lost to filling up. Obviously the chassis would need strengthening but that's not an issue, also planning on cutting the original small wheels off & fitting a commercial axle with brakes and some decent floatation's too anyway..

is it a good idea, or not?

I've had all the coulters off, bushed the seed boot tabs using the craft air kit and made sure grease goes where it should.. then re-assembled and made sure everything is tight. So hopefully its good to go until winter when it'll probably get a more thorough rebuild and some updates (tank included if I decide to go ahead) - Needham V8 firming wheels are top of the list

Can't you add a front tank or something? And blow it back

Yes, I probably could.. Although I have my eye on a fert tank (probably liquid) for the front. An idea is also to use the old Kv hopper off of the 750 as a front tank but I think it might be to narrow & tall to be much use
