7740 heater cable...

Ford 7740 heater is stuck on cold. The Bowden cable has seized I guess.
Where does the cable lead to, so I can take it off and manually move heater to warm?!

Cold no use in this weather!

Open panel ontop of roof and youll see the heater valve on end of matrix. The cable is only about 8" long. Valve often sticks closed after tje summer and breaks clips or cable when you try to move it

I did one before xmas valve was seized when i tried to free it off lever turned without moving the inner shaft, they are available new, from dealer but i took it out and fitted joiner, air con not operating so no problem..

Correction they are no longer available from dealer.....
