when I was about 7 I was cutting the lawns and when I came to shut the mower off the earthing bit was missing so got an old hacksaw blade and touched the spark plug,not sure how long I held on before I thought I'm getting a funny feeling here and let go , might explain a lot

Just get some neoprene Wellies and rock back on the heels for max insulation - black rubber gum boots are no use as the black carbon in them conducts leccy.
