Good luck. We spent years looking for a good second hand one that wasn't near new price before buying a new one.

5and a half grand is the price, lv see kerr at linlithgow selling refurbished ones for 2,3grand but doesn't have any.
Would that be with a bale extension? Could do with one myself.

If you need something for bales you're looking at £7500 to £8000 new for 14ft plus 4ft extension.
Looks like I'll be buggering about with old trailers for a while yet then.

Iv seen him selling fraser for that price, they rust bad aswell, l think they don't make them anymore, everyone had one 30 years ago.

Hogg engineering make the best drop side trailers I've seen.
I'm also in the market to buy one, as said before on here 2nd hand prices are almost as much as new

What’s this worth? 16ft, 10ton, twin ram.
Buckled sides, floor just started to have pitted holes in places, lights need looking at but brakes work. Chassis absolutely solid and trailer would do years as it is but to put ‘right’ could do with a floor, lights and straightening. 3 new tyres last autumn but 4 all good...for the right money I could be tempted to part ways..
edit: pin for hitch stand needs welding on too but I use it with it off
edit..again:chassis is covered in muck not rust..

That includes sprung drawbar and axles and a brake ram for each wheel. Some cheaper trailers have 1ram per axle.

Are they as dear got? Jan 2016 I paid £5300 for 10 ton Kane and bale extension was £350

Same trailer was £7000 in April 2019. After the disaster with "the other trailer" we priced again but they couldn't give a definite price and it was going to be at least a 4 month wait. The Herron was £8000, but we added a front bale rack and it was higher spec as standard.

Never understood why some only fit 1 brake ram per axle considering the price of brake rams.
