99: How can growers and farmers make their business more energy efficient?

Especially during current times with uncertainty looming over us, it is vital growers and farmers need to consider methods in cutting down on resources and business costs.

Experts at the NFU have been working with the GrowSave project and working closely with growers and farmers to reduce energy costs. We speak to AHDB’s Knowledge Exchange Manager, Nathalie Key and NFU’s Senior Energy Expert, Jon Swain who provide us with an insight into the 10 year programme and what growers and farmers can do to ensure they are making the most of their energy.

We will also hear from James Broekhuizen, Nursery Manager at Anchor Nurseries. He will share his experience and the changes they made at the nursery to make their business more efficient.
