I get similar with range point correction (similar accuracy to sf1) when its converging. Given time after start up or loosing and regaining signal it settles down to very little drift in practice.

Moling from a ditch, when I lost signal under over hanging trees I could start off a run manually steering, watch it regain signal claiming I was up to a meter off line, but the keep shifting as it continued to converge and before the end of a long run I could engage auto steer again without any nudging. If I engaged auto steer when it first regained signal I would have to nudge lots and the keep reducing the nudge in steps as it kept converging.

... they hate trees . power lines etc

You may have had problems with power lines and trees but those would affect satellite visibility, not drift which was the topic of the first message.

You must admit that those old school drivers like yourself who do not need auto-steer equipment, are hard to find these days. Specifically those who drive straight (or a predefined contour line) while watching back after the drill. Since those pro-drivers are not available for every farm any more (not willing to learn it the hard way eihter), it is better if 99% of the work is done well with electronics aids, leaving only some small areas for a not so good driver.
