A free to attend meeting about Farm Diversification

I am trying to put together a free to attend informal meeting on Farm Diversification and was wondering what people feel are the most important things to know when starting out or looking to diversify further.

Any ideas about where to look for some funding or grants?

Does anyone want to share their story? I am not looking for success stories only so anything you think might help is appreciated.

I would really love for people to go home after the meeting with a few ideas they can actually use on their own farm with minimum investment and maximum outcome.

I'm thinking about a day during the week at a farm in the Lake District but does anyone think Saturday might work better?

Any ideas about where to look for some funding or grants?

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
