All, We have have taken over a tenancy and inherited a Brian James covered car trailer that was left with the landlord over a year ago by some random bloke, who never came back to claim it or pay any storage. We want shot of it but can't trace who dropped it off & the trailer has no ID plate ...... what can we do to dispose of it legally? Am tempted to send it to the local sale but don't want to put ourselves in any drama. Landlord has a bit of a sharp reputation and I only have his word for how it got here. He also isn't going to bother to do anything about it, meanwhile the damn thing is in the way. Ideas please?

You could advertise for sale to see if it jogs any memories?
have you checked it’s not reported stolen?

sell it and plead it wasn’t there when you took over ?
