Accord DAS hopper extension limit

Would an Accord DAS be capable of holding 1,500lt. safely - without causing damage to structure e.g. A frame. Currently have 1,000 lt. hopper - but would like to be able to fit 2 x 500 kg bags in hopper, so was thinking of adding 2 - 250 lt. extensions.
Has anybody done this, if so has it been a success or failure ?

Yes we’ve done that to two DAS hoppers. See attached. Big enough for 1.5t but we just load 1t bags in and not have to worry about getting the hopper fully empty to get it all in.

What tractor did you use & what size weight block ?

Yes both 4m.
Tractor wise anything from 150hp - 230hp depending on what’s available.
Front weights are 1t.
