AdBlue usage CR9.90 combine

I'm fairly new to Ad Blue, running John Deere kit mostly. I will need a small mobile bowser for a new CR9.90. Before I spend lots on a portable bowser I thought I'd see what kind of daily consumption I will need to satisfy. Mostly chopping straw, wheat, osr, spring barley, beans & oats, so assume quite hard work.

Will 220 litres/day be plenty enough? The other Ad Blue machines will fill up in the yard each day so I will have an IBC there. I was thinking of something like this;

Using an AF 9230 AdBlue refill was once every 3 days or so, wasn't an every day thing. Not sure if a brand new combine would have jumped up another engine 'Tier' and use more?

On our 9090 we just bring four small cans in the van to put in every morning. Don't bother with IBCs or separate compartments to bowsers.

Do you refill the cans from an IBC? How do you get them to empty faster? I've found cans to be very slow unless you stab them...

They are designed to be turned completely upside down/vertical. They empty fast and without airlocks that way. (I'm talking about the type of 10litre can you buy from the dealer or petrol station)

Our t4a tractor uses a lot less ad blue than the t4b. Think they've increased ad blue use to reduce emissions.

Just put a small 200 ltr portable ad blue tank in the back of the pick up with electric pump and tow bowser with pick up . be plenty for a day of ad blue I would think .

That's the tank I had when I was running a 9.90

Can't remember exactly how many litres a day it used, but that tank was fine.
In fact, the farm has two CR's now and the tank is still being used.

Bloody hell £600.00 plus Apm are having folk over at that look on internet bet you could get one for a lot less as you ain't going to be using loads of ad blue May use 300 -400 lts a year I would think a cheapo tank would do .

If it’s a NH expect the AB consumption to jump between Tier 4 interim and Tier 4 final because FPT engines only use AB to reach the emissions target.

On the other hand Deere and AGCO/Deutz use AB in conjunction with EGR to drop the Nox levels which is why their machines use less AB in the final tier.
