Advice on what would be a suitable tractor for a disabled user??

Seen the videos of Mathews Evan in the valtra if only I had the money for a setup like his lol

Would a new holland with power command not be better than range command for modifying

I’ve a budget of £20000-£25000 for a tractor

Heard of few on about a Massey 7480 dyna-vt and I’ve looked into them and they look like a possible option

I’m after a tractor that requires very little use of clutch anyone think of any tractors that don’t require much use of the clutch around £25000
Would powershift tractor suit disabled person better

Hi i was wondering did you ever get sorted with a suitable tractor to modify for yourself im just wondering as ive got a disability myself and ive had any idea of buying myself a tractor but i too would need to find a suitable tractor that would be easy modified as i wouldnt have the strength to use the clutch and brakes with my feet ive looked into it before but i havent made much progress because i dont know where to start as i from tyrone in the north of ireland and dont know of anyone that has a tractor modified in ireland or would be fit to do it

Hi Fergal.,
I never got sorted with a tractor for myself as other matters ate my budget away !!
Did get driving a Massey 6480 with the dyna 6 transmission!! Was so easy to operate!!
I'm from Co Down it's just a case of go for it and get stuck in .. i drive my teleporter around the yard handing bales and stuff no probs and track machine too !!
Let me know if you get sorted with something be good to hear !!
Cheers

Ok thanks for the reply’s from everyone been looking into tractors and it looks like a 7480 with dyna-vt gearbox might be the most suitable and they seem to have good cab space and seem quite cheaper compared to other tractors with a vario transmission

I’m not really a Massey man but if it meant I would be fit to get myself a tractor I’d take a Massey lol

Going to go to a Massey dealer some day and have a chat and I’ll see from there

If I’m fit to get anything sorted I’ll lets yous know

Not sure. Cabs on some of models not big. Everything seems to be getting dearer second hand. 20 year old tractors people one hated are up to 16k now. All the Renault ares are nice I like them. Seen a guy retro fit a clutch dump button on the quadrishift model gearstick . Good move. Comfortable roomy cab too. ☺

I think you would need the clutch for everything on that model 40 f 40r gearbox 3 stage splitter , I had two explorer 90s great accsess but changing to clutchless gears and shuttle has been a godsend .
