Affordable lawn mower

Hello, I have recently purchased my first home. And with that comes my first lawn! It's pretty large and I have never had the need to care for a lawn before. Any tips, tricks, and advice would be much appreciated! One of the main things I'm looking for is a suggestion of a good and affordable lawn mower. Price range would be no higher than $350.00

Might be worth putting what country your in, as most replies you get will be from the UK and probably not apply to where you are.

Also your definition of large. I reckon a large lawn in USA will be measured in acres rather than uk square feet

Might be over budget, but get a robot mower.
A job I truly hated. Now I enjoy watching the lawn getting mowed.

Dont listen to any of these lazy people, I ysed to use a ride on out front blah di blah.
now I run a small walk behind and get 3. 3 miles exercise twice a week
