Age limits on cattle at slaughter

We had a beef protest over on our wee state outside the beef factories for 12 days. Our farm organisations are in talks with the meat factories today. I am just wondering are there differences on prices of cattle presented for slaughter in the UK on their age ie 30 month a old and 36 month a of age
