One step at a time.....You soon be doing section control
I started out this time last year thinking id do a lightbar that was upgradeable.....One step at a time.....
But I did think, once I've got my head around the guidance part and all working properly, section control on my little sprayer would be good. Probably completely unnecessary, but good none the less. Just having mower bouts matching up would be nice.

I am fortunate because the tractor is (I believe and hope!) steer ready so half the work is done. I've wimped out of building a board etc, hopefully @Andy26 is helping with that..... As I say, once I've got it going, I'll have a bit more if a play and hope to add a few things. Fancy building a base station too.I started out this time last year thinking id do a lightbar that was upgradeable.....
Rtk base station and autosteer later......
Stage 2 this winter is section, tramline and machine control....

To fabricate my base station, my son was robbed of his raspberry piBase station you say....
Wifi module and f9p ,plug them together and a few settings and bobs yer uncle
I bought one of them too, when I was starting out, for my RTK station (this was before I got the AOG bug). My base still runs on it, but the form factor is different to the standard F9P so not really for use without modification. Loving that theme btw, that would be a nice feature for AOG - skins/themes !I said just a simple lightbar... and that's as far as its got. Would love to go further, but really don't have the need for it, and I'm always jumping between tractors. Designed my own JD theme instead.
Question for those that know: I didn't do a lot of research at the time, and bought a U-blox C099-F9P-1 opposed to the simpleRTK2B unit. It works fine for what I'm doing, but can it be used with an AIO board? I'm guessing not, but could always use it for a base station.

The sad reality of addiction leading one more person to a life of crime. To fabricate my base station, my son was robbed of his raspberry pi
If you could hurry up on that base station please, as I think you'll be nearer to me than either of the two I've seen on the map (Cambridge and one the far side of Ipswich from me).View attachment 1146815
I'll get some pictures of the hardware in due course, but this is my first AOG steered crop coming up nicely, with tramlines AOG'd in too.
Next step is a base station too as I'm just a bit too far to pick up my nearest Ntrip one at Cambridge, and I do notice a little bit of drift, for example when coming back after filling seed. Nothing disastrous though, just as others have said, it's addictive looking for the next upgrade!!
Put one up as well, bring some redundancy to everyone in the areaIf you could hurry up on that base station please, as I think you'll be nearer to me than either of the two I've seen on the map (Cambridge and one the far side of Ipswich from me).

Not too bad, I'd never used visual studio before, after a bit of clicking around I found the main background frame and applied a background image to it, and moved a few of the text boxes. It doesn't scale very well on different screens, more work to do to it. Icons are simple to edit, JD have online simulators for greenstar that I could screenshot the icons fromI really like the JD theme, was it complicated to do?
Excuse me, I'm from Spain and I've got a 6280 MF. How do you link the ¿steel? bar that holds the plastic part to the steering column? For me is the most difficult thing because of the adjustable steering wheel
Thats the best picture I could find, just uses the two bolts that hold the steering column together.Excuse me, I'm from Spain and I've got a 6280 MF.
